In a tragic accident, a college student identified as Anjali lost her life after reportedly falling from a moving bus near Udhampur on Thursday.
Anjali, a student of Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, was travelling with fellow students on a trip towards Patnitop when the incident occurred. According to reports, she fell from the bus around 10:30 AM, nearly a kilometre before reaching Udhampur.
The accident led to her death, leaving her family, friends, and college community in deep shock and grief. Authorities have expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
The tragic incident has once again raised concerns over safety measures during student travel and the need for stricter precautions to prevent such mishaps.
