Three pilgrims from Himachal Pradesh were seriously injured in a road accident in the Ghagwal area of Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, while returning home after visiting the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
According to reports, the devotees had completed their pilgrimage and were on their way back when their car suddenly went out of control in the Ghagwal area and veered off the road, resulting in a major accident. The vehicle sustained significant damage in the crash.
Local residents and police personnel rushed to the spot and helped rescue the injured passengers from the damaged vehicle. The victims were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Doctors said that all three injured persons are undergoing treatment and remain under medical observation.
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
