A major road accident occurred in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday when a Tempo Traveller overturned in Tangmarg, near the famous tourist destination of Gulmarg. Five people, including four tourists, were injured in the incident.
According to officials, the accident took place in the main market area of Tangmarg. The vehicle reportedly lost control and overturned, causing injuries to four tourists and the local driver.
Locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said all five injured persons are receiving medical care and their condition is stable.
The accident caused panic in the busy market area for a short period. Police and local authorities reached the scene and have started an investigation to determine the cause of the mishap.
