A tragic road accident in Jammu has claimed the life of a young man identified as Ajay Kumar. According to the information available, Ajay was travelling on a motorcycle when he was allegedly hit by a truck, resulting in a fatal accident.
The incident reportedly took place on the roadside, where the victim’s body remained at the spot for around one-and-a-half hours. Local people alleged that despite informing the authorities, neither the police nor an ambulance reached the spot for a considerable time.
The incident sparked anger among people present at the location, who questioned the delay in emergency response. Police and traffic personnel later reached the spot and initiated necessary proceedings.
It is being reported that Ajay Kumar had got married only eight months ago. His sudden death has left his family devastated.
Locals claimed that the accident could be a hit-and-run case and that a truck may have been involved. However, the exact circumstances of the accident and the identity of the vehicle involved are yet to be officially confirmed.
Police have started an investigation to establish how the accident occurred and identify the vehicle involved.
