Hiranagar (Kathua): A shocking incident has come to light from Palatain village in the Rajbagh police station area of Kathua district, where a Class 7 student, Balveer Kumar, was allegedly murdered by slitting his throat on Monday. According to initial reports, the incident is believed to be linked to an old rivalry. The child’s body was found lying by the roadside, leaving locals in a state of shock and panic. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and shifted the body to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination. Authorities have arrested one suspect in connection with the case and initiated a detailed investigation to ascertain the exact motive and circumstances behind the crime.
