Revival of Sanatan Traditions in Kashmir; Dashar Kumbh to be Held at Shadipora from July 15–24

In a significant step towards reviving Sanatan and cultural traditions in Kashmir, a major धार्मिक initiative is being organized after decades to reconnect Kashmiri Hindus with their roots.
Preparations are in full swing for the Dashar Kumbh, which will be held from July 15 to 24 at Shadipora in Ganderbal district, the sacred confluence of the Jhelum (Vitasta) and Sindh (Sindhu) rivers.
Amrit Snan and Religious Congregation
The आयोजन will feature Amrit Snan (holy dip) at the confluence, along with a grand Dharma Sammelan, where saints and spiritual leaders from across the country are expected to participate.
The event aims to restore the spiritual and cultural significance of the region and promote religious unity and heritage.

The संगम at Shadipora has historically been an important धार्मिक स्थल, and the आयोजन of Dashar Kumbh is being seen as a major effort to revive age-old traditions in Kashmir.
Organisers believe the event will not only strengthen cultural identity but also bring together devotees and संत-महात्मा from across India, marking a new chapter in the region’s spiritual revival.
