The District Administration Jammu has issued an important weather advisory, urging residents to strictly follow all weather-related warnings issued from time to time amid the prevailing adverse weather conditions.
The administration has appealed to the public to avoid visiting riverbanks, low-lying areas prone to flash floods, and other prohibited locations until July 24 as a precautionary measure.
Citizens have been advised to remain alert, prioritize their safety, and rely only on official updates. In case of any emergency or assistance, people can contact the District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) on its 24×7 helpline: 0191-2571616.
The administration has also urged everyone to cooperate with authorities and avoid unnecessary travel to vulnerable areas during the ongoing spell of inclement weather.
