J&K Cabinet Meeting Today, Several Key Proposals Likely to Be Discussed

The Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Thursday afternoon under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to consider several important proposals, sources said.

According to sources, as reported by the Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the agenda includes consideration of the Skill Development Policy and a revised Home Stay Policy. The proposed policies are aimed at strengthening skill development and promoting tourism and related activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Cabinet is also expected to deliberate on several infrastructure projects, land transfer proposals and the promotion of officers during the meeting.

Sources further said that some bills proposed to be introduced during the upcoming Budget Session may also come up for discussion before the Cabinet.

The decisions taken during the meeting could pave the way for further action on these proposals and legislative measures during the upcoming session.
