The Border Security Force (BSF) has detained a Pakistani national near the International Border in the Hiranagar sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. The man was reportedly found moving under suspicious circumstances near the border, following which alert BSF personnel took him into custody.
According to reports, the individual was spotted ahead of the border fencing in the Bobiya area of the Hiranagar sector. BSF personnel acted swiftly and detained him for questioning after noticing his suspicious movement.
The incident took place in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies are now questioning the detained person to establish his identity, how he reached the Indian side, and the purpose behind his presence near the International Border.
The authorities are conducting further investigation, while security remains tight along the International Border in the Jammu region.
