According to reports, an Alto car parked outside a house in a residential locality was targeted by thieves during the night. When the family members came out the next morning, they were shocked to find the vehicle resting on bricks, with all four tyres missing. The thieves had reportedly removed the tyres along with the rims and fled from the spot.
The incident has left residents worried, especially because it occurred in a well-developed and populated neighborhood. Locals claim that theft cases have been increasing in Kathua over the past several months, creating a sense of insecurity among people.
