A tragic road accident occurred in the Danna Dohiya area of Mandi Tehsil in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Tuesday, claiming the life of a 35-year-old motorcyclist and leaving two others seriously injured.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Azam, son of Noor Mohammad and a resident of the same locality. According to reports, authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the motorcycle crash.
Mohammad Azam sustained fatal injuries in the accident and died on the spot. The two other individuals riding on the motorcycle were critically injured.
Upon receiving information about the incident, local residents and police personnel rushed to the scene and immediately launched rescue efforts. The injured were shifted to the District Hospital Poonch for emergency medical treatment.
Doctors said the condition of both injured persons remains serious, and they are being closely monitored. Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
