Concern has grown in Jammu’s Akhnoor area after two youths reportedly went missing from the Khaur area. The discovery of their clothes, slippers and motorcycle near the Chenab River has raised concerns, prompting a major search operation.
The missing youths have been identified as Rakesh Singh and Gaje Singh. According to the information available, both have been missing since Sunday evening.
After the two failed to return home, their families began searching for them. During the search, their clothes, slippers and motorcycle were reportedly found along the bank of the Chenab River. Following this, authorities were informed and a search operation was launched in the area.
Considering the seriousness of the situation, NDRF and SDRF teams have been carrying out a search operation in the Chenab River. Rescue personnel are also checking the surrounding areas and other possible locations for any clues.
So far, no confirmed information about the whereabouts of the two youths has been reported. The search operation remains underway, while further details are awaited from the authorities.
